The Foundation’s program consists of programs that encourage the students to set high goals for themselves and achieve them. We want them to come back after they graduate from our program and return as mentors in order to give back to the next generations of students.
• After-School academic enrichment program that aims to help young Hispanic women graduate from high school
• College Preparation offers tips, strategies, and workshops to help young Hispanic women high school students apply for college.
• Mentor Program we work with professionals who want to make a difference by helping the students.
• Internships the Foundation will soon partner with companies and organizations to provide internships for young Hispanic women entering the workforce
• Parent Engagement we work with parents who support of their child’s academic progress.
I certainly know how much I would have benefited from Alcanzando Metas Foundation if it had existed when I was a student in high school. My role now, and that of my colleagues, is to ensure that as many Hispanic young women as possible have that opportunity.
